Left to Right. Arthur Meyers, son of Edward and Magdalena Seelman Meyers. He was born in 1896. I have very little information about him. Next to him is his sister, Amelia Meyers Ackerman. She has her arms around two of her granddaughters, Sharon Doran and Barbara Hale.

She is buried in Brentwood, Long Island.
Linda Meyers and Amelia
Veronica Meyers
The
one on the Left in white blouse, is Linda Meyers, daughter of Edward and
Magdalena Seelman Meyers. Linda b Aug 1892. She joined the Sisters of St. Joseph
on Brentwood, Long Island, NY 8 Sept 1910. Received the Habit 26 Jan 1911 and
professed 24 Aug 1913. She spent most of her life in the NYC area teaching in
various schools. She died around 1946. I will get you the exact date of her
death soon. The other young girl is Amelia Veronica
Meyers, daughter of Edward and Magdalena Seelman Meyers. She

Claude
Meyers
Son of Edward and
Magdalena Seelman Meyers. Don does not have much information on Claude, just
that he was born in Feb 1891 and at a very young age, around 12 he ran away from
home because he felt his father was too strict. He married and had 3 or 4
children. They lived in the Salamanca, NY area.

Edward Meyers b. 25 May 1862 d. 1 Oct 1932. He is
buried St. Michael's Cem, Mohawk Hill, Lewis co. NY Edward Meyers came to NY
when he was 15 years old
from Switzerland. He was a
stoway. He married
Magdalena
Seelman about 1891. She
was b. 17 Mar 1874 Mohawk
Hill, NY
and died 8 Apr 1898
from complications due to childbirth.
Magdalena
Seelman was the
daughter of Charles Fredrick
Seelman and Amelia Seelman.
(same last name). Edward Meyers
never remarried. He ran a store on Mohawk
Hill, then moved to Fish Creek, Lewis Co. NY where he ran another
store
there. Edward and his wife had 5 children:Claude, Linda, Amelia, Arthur and
Edwin.
James Ackerman Bush, son of James Bush and Emma Ackerman. James and his mother eventually moved to Amarillo, TX to live with William Bush a son of the first marriage. The library in Martinsburg, New York is named after him, William Bush Memorial Library. James Ackerman Bush married Maurine Bass and they lived in TX.
