Ancestors were Garret Sr. and Nancy Dedrick, their eight children were Catherine, John P., Daniel, Moses, Garret Jr., Phoebe, Harriet and George. Their settlements were from Jefferson, Greene, Otsego, Delaware and Broome counties.

The 119th Mapes Reunion will be held on Sat., 13 Aug. 2005 at the Otis Mapes Farm in Phillipsport, New York, located off Route 209 between Ellenville and Wurtsboro (the turn off Route 209 is well-marked with signs). The Mapes Genealogy books will be available at special Reunion prices. The Mapes Genealogy database will be available for individual searches. Bring some lunch and a dish to share, items for a white elephant auction, and lots of news for sharing.

The 2004 WEATHERWAX / WETHERWAX / WITHERWAX reunion will take place on Sunday July 11, 2004 at Grafton Lakes State Park in Rensselaer co. NY. This Palatine family arrived in New York Colony in 1710, in 2010 we look forward to celebrating our 300th year in America. August 8, 2004 will mark the 73rd annual Norton reunion. A gathering of descendents from Tischner and Nancy Ball Norton (1810-1907) will be held in Bethany, NY. As part of the upcoming 75the Norton reunion, we have been gathering all the family photos and memorabilia and scanning them. We now have over 3700 images and would love to hear from other family members. Please contact me if you are a branch of this tree or your Norton family goes back to Thomas Norton's of Saybrook and Guilford, CT beginning in 1639.
The 113th Battey Family Reunion will be held on Saturday August 14th at Noon. At the home of Nelsa Selover's, 743 Levanna Rd. Aurora, NY. Please bring a dish to pass and your table service, we will have a meal, pass the hat & a meeting. Share family stories & pictures so Please bring them along.
